Its long history of mining development has fostered a transparent regulatory framework and a highly mature system for mineral development, all underpinned by a stable political environment.
Mining activities are governed by the Mining Act 1978 (WA), under which mineral tenure is clearly defined, publicly recorded and protected by an independent legal system. This provides certainty for long-term resource development, investment and international trade.

Heavy-haul Road Transport Network
High-standard regional highways, with posted speed limits of up to 120 km/h, support the efficient movement of mining equipment and personnel. Multi-trailer road trains transport 100–140 tonnes of mineral product per trip, providing highly efficient bulk mine-to-port logistics.
World-class Export Infrastructure
The Green Chert Project is located approximately 120 km from Port Hedland, the world’s largest bulk export port by tonnage, providing direct shipping access to major Asia-Pacific markets.
